I had been looking forward to the UCAS fair as I wasn't too sure about which universities I wanted to apply at - I only had 3 in mind and - 2 in Leeds and Birmingham. This fair gave me the chance to kind of view the unis without having to go to the open days. I got a chance to talk to present students and tutors. The uni that I really want to go to is Leeds College of Art and I couldn't even find their stall! I walked around for aged before I found it, and to my dismay, they weren't really helpful. The girl I spoke to was a current student but not on the course I wanted to do and didn't know much about it. All she had to say was that it was a good course and student produced some good work at the end of it. That's not really helpful to me! I think i'm going to have to book a private tour of the uni and meet the tutors for myself - hopefully they'll have more information! One thing I know for sure is that I want to do a Textiles and Surface Design course.
